Hey Guys and Girls!ย

You ever imagine that your veiw isn’t wide enough? Kinda like you’re only seeing one side of the coin? I mean, like, how did Jonah fare in the whales tummy? Digestive juice and all? Or how did Moses feel speaking face to face with God? Or Elijah when he ran faster than Horses? I’m always pondering these… Well, not always but most times. Anyways I decided to write on what could happen in these instances. I use first person so we can see through their eyes, delve the minds of people as great as David to those as bad as Judas and more. Many more.

Welcome to Ojehs Blog…

P.sย Y’all catch the last cut-outs? Cut-outs, That’s what I call short stories like those. Hope you loved them. Shalom!

Bondage or Greed?

Help! Help! Somebody help me!”

The screams woke me up from my sleep. I rubbed my eyes and looked round my room. I could have sworn I heard a scream outside. Before I could contemplate more on it it came again.

“Oh! Oh God no!!! Help me! Some one, anyone! Please help”

I grabbed my jacket and slipped a hunting knife into my sleeve and ran out of the house! Some one was in trouble!

I followed the screams and rounded a corner and what I saw made my insides curl and chills run up my spine…

A huge beast with the build of a bear, huge teeth, a neck like a dragon, tongue like a serpent stood there. It had aย lion’s mane and hooves like a bull. Its claws were long and its face was grotesque. Its was dragging a man over to a cliff edge.

The natives had stories, myths about the beast I was seeing. This was the first time I had seen it in person. I had also heard of that cliff edge. It was death. No one who fell over ever came back. And there were endless screams and groans coming from the cliff.
All we knew of those who fell there was that their voices joined the screams and groans after 3 nights. The cliff pit was called ‘Eternal Damnation’.

It was a living nightmare…

And the beast was going to throw the poor chained man over there!

I ran forward, my hunting knife was in my hand before I knew it and I was screaming in utter rage. The chained man screamed at me ย “Help”! I ran and tried prying the chain away from his hands but the man bit me. “Not me, idiot! Kill the beast”! I was surprised.

“I can free you from the chain. Just let me help…” “No”!

I stood back at looked at the man. He was refusing my help! And I wasn’t going to fight that beast head on. I then noticed something. The chains were wrapped round the man…and He was holding on!

images-1 The man wasn’t chained at all! He was holding onto the chain of his will!

The beast dragged him over to the edge and threw him over then rolled up the chain and went into town again, smiling to itself.

I went back to my room puzzled.

I sat down to think on what happened. Why didn’t the man leave the chain?

Then it hit me. I wondered why I didn’t notice before.

The chain was made of Gold…

From the Diaries of…

lioness_roar_images_51261700Sweat beaded on my face. I stood there on the sand under the hot glare of the sun. I would not let him get away with his blasphemy. Not this defiled, un-circumcised Philistine!
My hands balled into tight fists.
My opponent looked at me and laughed! Oh he was a brute! He stood over 9 feet tall and He was a demi-god. He hurled more insults at Yaweh. I had to kill him. But my body screamed to run, to live.

But I would not leave. Not yet. I put my bag and pulled out a stone.
The demi-god hefted his javelin and took a taunting step towards me. I did what he least expected… I charged at him!
*FLASH*

The lion stalked through the tall grass watching the sheep. It was hungry. It needed meat and blood. And it needed it now. It swished its tail once, twice and on the third time, it charged!
*FLASH*

The giant looked perplexed but recovered immediately. He flung his javelin at me and immediately reached for another!
*FLASH*

The sheep didn’t stand a chance. It was knocked over and instantly in the jaws of the lion. With its prey in its jaws, it ran. I sprung from the tree I was resting on and raced after the lion! He would not get the sheep! He would not!
*FLASH*

I side stepped the second javelin and ran even faster to reach the demi-god. He wanted to eat the sheep of Isreal?! He would not! He would not!
*FLASH*

I caught up with the lion and grabbed at it tail and yanked hard! I almost came off my feet! The lion was halted in its tracks and turned to face me. I was already over it and I jabbed it in the neck with the butt of my staff. Hard! It dropped the sheep and growled and snapped at me. I jumped back and stood warily. The Lion circled me.
*FLASH*

I got past the other javelin and ran towards him. The Giant pulled his sword and began to advance towards me as well. I put the stone I had picked in my sling and ran even faster. The distance between us closed rapidly…
*FLASH* I watched the lions tail. It swished once, twice and on the third, the lion dug in its claws and lunged at me! I stepped into its range and swung my staff with all my might!
*FLASH*

The giant was in my range. I swung the sling with all my might!
*FLASH*

The staff moved through the air and impacted on the skull of the Lion crushing its skull!
*FLASH*

The stone impacted on the giants head and sunk deep! He dropped dead on the spot. And I beheaded him. He would not touch the sheep of Isreal!
*FLASH*

The Lion dropped dead on the spot. He would not eat the sheep assigned to me.
